Aftercare/continuing care program

Aftercare refers to services that help individuals maintain long-term drug and alcohol recovery following residential treatment or intensive outpatient treatment. A well thought out aftercare plan greatly diminishes the likelihood of relapse. At New Start Recovery, we customize every aftercare plan based upon each person’s unique needs. For clients successfully completing a residential treatment program, our 12-week Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides important structure necessary for recovery and community integration. Following the IOP program, graduates will have the option to attend free unlimited aftercare sessions one evening per week to sustain long-term recovery. 

Aftercare Services at New Start Recovery may include:

Ongoing relapse prevention plan for triggers, people, places and things when returning or living home. On going development and changes to Aftercare/Continuing Care plan as need for individuals

attending and participating in local 12-step meetings in the community

Individual addiction counseling

Coordination of Care for psychiatry, co-occurring issues and medical issues

Family or couples counseling

Participation in clinic sober social activities
