Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program

Our Intensive Outpatient Program offers evidence-based treatment to anyone who is motivated for recovery, has full-time employment or school enrollment, has a strong support system, and does not meet medical criteria for detoxification in a residential treatment program. IOP can also be used as a step down in treatment intensity for clients who have completed a primary treatment program.

Our Intensive Outpatient Program provides the benefits of treatment with added flexibility. With sessions at night, you can continue to live your life going to work or school. IOP combines group, individual, and family therapy to provide a solid foundation for recovery. Many different topics are covered during the 8 to 12 week program including:

Understanding the Disease Concept of Addiction
Learning and Practicing Relapse Prevention Skills
Managing Cravings and Urges
Navigating the Stages of Change
Utilizing Help from Family and Social Network
Understanding the 12-Steps
Understanding the Role of Spirituality in Recovery
Co-Occurring Disorders and their Impact on Addiction and Recovery
Stress/Anger Management

Clients will learn the tools necessary to live a happy and productive life without the use of drugs or alcohol.

IOP meets three (3) times per week, in the evening, for twelve (12) weeks. If a client works offshore or in a related field that requires time away, the treatment schedule can be adapted to meet this need. Our IOP is grounded in the proven tradition of the Spiritual Principles of Alcoholics Anonymous and abstinence based treatment.

We understand the workforce culture in South Louisiana with the Oil & Gas Industry. Most of the population here is employed in the Oil & Gas Industry. We offer treatment services to those individuals who may work on a 7&7, 14&14, or 21&14, etc... schedule. We will work with them to enable them to participate in a structured treatment program while continuing to keep their work schedules.
